{Cinema} 3D vs. Normal

It seems like recently, every movie has been comin out in 3D. which is cool, cool some of them look awesome in 3D. but what's not cool is the extra 3 dollars you have to pay. Now, im not a cheap ass and I don't mind paying 3 extra dollars to watch Avatar or Inception, but to be honest, alotta 3D movies arn't worth it. Jackass 3D for example.

I love Jackass.

Ive seen both of the Jackass movies that have came out so far.

I still have plans to see the 3rd one.

Do I think its worth the extra 3 dollars to watch it in 3D? hell no.

Am I gonna have to spend the extra money to see it? probably.

I wouldnt even have that much to bitch about if you were paying for the glasses And if you had your own you can go around the extra money, but sadly thats not the case. According to my movie theater, "your not paying the extra money for the glasses, your paying for the experience". what experience? whats gonna be so different about seeing Johnny Knoxville's ass in 3D?

And on top of that, almost all movies are in 3D, the newness of the experience is kinda gone by now. I get that the studios gotta pay extra money to buy 3D cameras, but like I said, some movies dont need to be shot in 3D. Idk, movie studio need to stop jumpin on the 3D bandwagon. Avatar sold a shitload of tickets because it was a good ass movie, not because it was in 3D (although that did enhance the experience). Thats what 3D should be used for, to enhance the experience. If you have a movie with a bunch of cool effects that would look good in 3D, thats a good reason. Not because you want to make Avatar money off your movie.

So in conclusion:

Avatar in 3D? Yes.

Inception in 3D? Yes.

Jackass in 3D? NO!
